Superbly detailed book on engine construction and design

Until I saw this book I didn't believe it would be possible for an amateur to build a jet engine, capable of running at 100,000 rpm . Kamps book explains clearly how, with a reasonably well equipped workshop, a model engineer can build an efficient working jet engine.

MODEL JET ENGINE DESIGN

The book has a lot of information, including formulation for sizing the components. It's not just a book with pictures and drawings.
I worked in the jet engine business over 40 years, and would recommend this to anyone who is interested in basic jet engine design.
